Water is one of the most important elements on Earth. It shapes our planet and allows for life to flourish, and it would not be an exaggeration to say that without this precious substance, every living being on earth would eventually perish, of course, this includes us humans, since more than half of our body weight is water. Even though it is such an important element, water is often taken for granted as our planet is primarily covered by it. In our blog last week we talked about how to incorporate waterless product in your skincare routine, in this blog we will talk about the wonders of water, its importance, its interesting quirks and its benefits for your body and skin!
Water? Of course I know what it is!
Yeah, I know that it is common knowledge that water, is a chemical compound, made by combining two hydrogen atoms with an oxygen atom, and that its formula is H2O. However, is that really all there is to water? can we limit its power to a chemical structure?
- Water is the only compound on the planet that exists naturally in all three states of matter: solid, liquid and gas.
- Water can dissolve more substances than any other liquid, which is why it is used as the universal solvent in the skincare industry.
- Water can defy gravity and rise through the trunks of even the most gigantic of trees to help leaves to absorb all the nutrients that come from the roots.
- In the same way, drinking water helps us to absorb all the nutrients from the food we eat and deliver these to all the cells.
Why is water important to humans?
From the physiological perspective, without water we could not live more than a few days.
- If we decrease our water intake and therefore we lose 2% of our water, we become thirsty
- If we lose enough fluid at around 10%, we would be in severe dehydration which can lead us to serious outcomes, including: swelling in the brain, kidney failure, seizure, hallucinations, and affect other bodily functions.
- If our body loses water up to 12% of our liquid content, it is almost certain that we will die.
Since water is more than half your body weight, dehydration can be very dangerous. Make sure to drink enough water to replace what’s lost through sweating, urination, and bowel movements, to avoid it.
The Energy of Water
Is water alive? Since ancient times, it has been believed that in water exists the seed for life. In the modern era, we are able to prove it by observing evolution. Animals like the jellyfish are 99.9% water and yet they are able to generate life.
But then, where there is life, there is death. Could water die?
This way of rearranging its structure is what explains why water is so crutial for life, as it suggests that information is either made of water or exists in it the same way a future sculpture exists in a piece of clay. That is why water, with the necessary impulse can create life.
Water Molecular Structure
Water is not only energy by itself, but it can transport energy throughout our body. When scientific studies analyze water structure in its purest form, whether in springs or in the cells of a newborn baby, it is observed that its molecular structure is hexagonal, and that these molecules are capable of grouping themselves in hexagonal clusters.
However, the water we receive in our homes, does not have that structure at all. It is believed that water has to go through a process that gradually absorbs its energy.
The Importance of Water Hexagonal Clusters
For a long time, researchers have studied how to replicate the hexagonal molecular structure of water, as this could be not only the most stable form, but it was also the one in which water retained its energy and purity best.
Some scientific studies have shown that drinking structured water is better for our health as our cells absorb it better, giving us adequate hydration and therefore increase our physical performance without the need of drink more water of that our body needs.
Although there are still many debates on this subject, it is evident that water is not just a compound to sustain life, but it has an energetic vibration that can help us improve our health if we take care of its quality. Indeed, companies like HKE Techology, have developed ways to take water back to its hexagonal structure. Let us know what do you think in the comments!
The ``Memory`` of the Water
When scientists tried to figure out why pure water molecules clustered in hexagons unlike drinking water, they found out that the molecules that had formed clusters were able to hold information. In other words, it could «remember» things.
In a city, water goes through straight pipes which do not allow it flow in its natural form: a spiral. Then it reaches our homes, we use it and then we dispose it, thus going to the sewers to be treated and returned to back our houses. In this process, the water receives all our spiritual pollutants: stress, hatred, sadness, and its capacity to «remember» information, causes it to lose its vital energy. When water structure of that we receive is analyzed, its hexagonal molecular shape has gone away.
Emotional Impact of Water Memory Capacity
It is also said that water can remember the emotions or thoughts that have been put into it. In this video, it is explained that when the water molecules form into clusters, these work as memory cells that allow them to record the whole history of its interaction with the world.
This memory capacity of water is related to vibration and resonance. In fact some experiments showed the reaction of water structure when subjected to pretty words vs ugly words. Water that had been exposed to positive words kept its hexagonal molecular shape and purity, while the water that had been exposed to negative words lost its structure and became polluted.
According to the scientist Juliana Brooks Mortenson, just as water in the pipes respond to emotional pollutants, humans and plants respond to resonant energy probably because or the large amount of water in our organisms.
In this way, if 60% of our total weight is water, our thoughts and emotions affect the total energy and therefore our health.
So, next time you expose yourself to ugly words in front of the mirror, just remember that you are more than half water, and that water has memory.
Health Impact of Water Memory Capacity
Discoveries around water memory, have led to all sorts of studies on how water capacity to absorb properties of any substance that comes in contact with it, might be used to store or transfer information.
On the Okinawa island in Japan for example, there is a hypothesis that the longevity of its habitants come from the fluid intake that come from water that rest on corals that are more than 600 years old. Its water, have been used successfully in longevity claims products.
Derived from this, different technologies have come to the surface with the promise of providing us with purer and more beneficial water for our health. From filters, a different kind of water bottle, or technology for achieving hexagonal water structure can benefit from the way water can conduct energy. However, in this blog, I would like to bring your attention to GANS.
GANS? What are these and why are Important?
GANS is an acronym for Gas in Nano-solid State. I don’t want to bore you with chemistry , so I will just say that these are particles that have been created in a lab and that have some pretty amazing properties.
GANS are a new state of matter that «absorbs» characteristics present in solids, liquids or gases, and that are brought to water making use of its storing capabilities. These are produced by using the internal energy of a metal atom and the storing capabilities of water, to create materials that can radiate plasma of different elements right into water. In this page you can learn more about the production of GANS.
Nanotechnology is been widely researched for its uses in food and supplements processing where nano-size powders can increase the absorption of nutrients and improve the bio-availability of certain ingredients. You can read more about this here.
In the same way, GANS use nanotechnology, to bring to water the benefits of certain metals such are zinc for cellular restructuring, cooper for supporting the functions of the lymphatic system and bring energetic balance to your body; or to bring a complex of vitamins and enzymes that protect your skin and health.
In Tweengreens we are exploring GANS charged with vitamins and telomeres in order to improve the quality and energy of the water in our water-based products. If you want to know more about the launch of out products subscribe to our list to receive the latest updates!

The Importance of Water in our Skin
Now we know the wonders of water, however, a main question still stands, «Why is water important for our skin?»
Water is used by most bodily functions so it would be impossible to list them all. However, we will mention the most important functions it has:
Supports TEWL Process
Transepidermal water loss, refers to the water that we naturally evaporate through our skin with the only purpose of regulate body temperature. Adequate water intake helps the body maintain a normal internal temperature and therefore avoid dehydration of our skin, protecting our skin barrier function.
Transports Nutrients and Oxygen
Our blood which is in charge of carrying nutrients and oxygen to the rest of our body is mainly composed of water as it is what keeps your blood liquid and allows it to flow easily through our body.
Through improving your blood vessels flow, water helps you fight oxidation prevent your skin from aging.
Fights Infection
Proper hydration helps flush out bacteria and toxins, and provides the fluid that cells need to multiply properly. Furthermore, by keeping bacteria away, you can avoid acne.
Maintain Bodily Functions
As we said before, it is really difficult to list all the processes that need water in your body, however in this section, we would like to briefly compile some that were not mentioned. Water intake can help to:
- Avoid urinary tract infection
- Supports weight loss
- Supports brain function
- Help digest food
- Avoid constipation
- Regulate blood pressure
- Lessen burden on Kidneys and Liver
- Lubricate and cushion our joints
So as you can see, positive impact of water is essential for our health and wellbeing in a whole range of ways. It’s important to be drinking plenty of water whenever you feel thirsty, as that is the way of the body to protect you from dehydration.
And you have reached the end of the blog! We hope you enjoyed reading about water as much as we enjoyed writing it! If you liked this post, I hope you share it and if you have any questions, put them down in the comments!
